Our mission is to prove that science is fun, cool and easy through exciting hands-on experiences! We inspire a lifelong enthusiasm for learning and science while teaching kids creative problem-solving skills, teamwork, and perseverance in a fun, kid-friendly environment.
Summer vacation camps are educational and fun programs where our young scientists can focus on one or two main science themes each week! Our camps are great for ages 5-12.
Camp Themes
FUNKY PHYSICS
Our Physics Camp is focused on the FUNdamentals. Kids learn the forces of nature and the science of motion. We explore magnetism, centripetal force, inertia, momentum, gravity, air pressure, electricity, and explosions! Sir Newton would be proud!
CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION
CSI camp is a favorite. Kids conduct cool science experiments using DNA, fingerprinting, fiber analysis, and anatomy. They collect clues, identify suspects, and solve crimes using their crime fighting tool kits. At the end of the week, our budding detectives will work together and use their new skills to solve a mystery and save the Science Guys!
SPACE AND ROCKETRY
Space camp is all about life in outer space! From Earth, to the outer planets, we explore the physics of space, how astronauts live in the ISS, and launch 6 different kinds of rockets! Kids will bring home their real rocket at the end of the week!
CRAZY CHEMISTRY
Budding chemists conduct hands-on experiments connecting real-world materials with scientific principles. Students will learn about the elements on our interactive Periodic Table, make their own slime recipes, mix eruptions, explosions, and even make elephant toothpaste!
EARTH, WIND, AND FIRE
This camp is everything environmental! We will make a copy of a dinosaur tooth, dig for gems and geodes, and learn about the awesome benefits of LIVE worms! We'll talk about the water and air cycles, make our own fossils, look through our collection of real bugs, and explore elements of nature that are all around us!
ROBOT BUILDING - Great for 7-12 years of age!
We dive into the wonders of technology with lessons on locomotion, circuitry, programming, and more. Experiments are designed to spark interest and curiosity in applied science. Campers will build and take home 3 different battery-powered robots, as well as build our cubelet robots and complete challenges with programmable robots. (We do not include coding in this camp.)
ENGINEERING EARTH
Campers will learn how to utilise the Engineering Design Process to solve problems and complete challenges, such as building bridges, skyscrapers, and spheres! We do tons of creative free building, so students are challenged to work together and use their engineering skills.
KITCHEN CHEMISTRY
Each experiment in this camp is either edible or uses edible ingredients! We will explore the hidden secrets of the kitchen, make edible slime, make our own gummy worms, and create edible eruptions! While we are mainly using edible ingredients, we won't eat the results of every experiment. No major allergens are included in this camp!
SCIENCE OF ART
All of the science experiments in this camp will create a work of art to take home! From tie-dye to ice sculptures, this camp is the perfect blend of rainbows and eruptions! We'll explore the full color spectrum, make our own play dough, and use chemistry, physics, and engineering principles to create our masterpieces!
AS SEEN ON YOUTUBE!
We bring all of your favorite YouTube science experiments to life! We've chosen some of the most popular videos to give students the chance to explore science first hand! We'll make dancing oobleck, do a variety of egg-speriments, and the kids will get to bring in their favorite videos for us to recreate on Friday!
IT'S ALIVE! PLANTS, ANIMALS, AND US
Our first Biology themed camp! In this camp we will learn all about how plants and animals grow, survive, and thrive! We'll learn about our own digestion and anatomy, and all about what makes us.... US! We are most excited to learn all about animal habitats and migration on our GIANT interactive dymaxion map of the world!
STEAM
Science, technology, engineering, arts and math all together in each activity to make learning challenging and fun! Kids will make chemical reactions, play brain games, and more! Each day they will create and observe how all of the STEAM components work together.
CIRQUE DE SCIENCE
Come one! Come all! We will explore many feats of the Circus, explain the science behind it, and help each kid perform these feats on their own! The activities will include disappearing acts, balance and levitation! Discover that magic is just science without an explanation!
BIZARRE SCIENCE
This week we will do a mix of all of our favorite science experiments on all subjects! Each day will be full of chemistry, physics, engineering and art!
